Join the annual International Al Quds Day 2020 #FlyTheFlag #AlQudsDay2020

Every year millions of people around the world, including in the UK, join local protests and marches in all the major cities to mark International Al Quds Day - the last friday of Ramadan, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their unwavering resistance to zionist oppression. This year due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Al Quds Day will he held online on 22nd May 2020 with millions participating in online conferences and social media actions.

1. #FlyTheFlag campaign

Over 120 organisation around the world, including Inminds Human Rights Group, have united for Al Quds Day to call for people to to fly the Palestinian flag #FlyTheFlag in solidarity with the struggle for freedom in Palestine on this years Al Quds Day #AlQudsDay2020.

Simply take a photo or video of yourself with the Palestinian flag and post it on social media with the tags #FlyTheFlag and #AlQudsDay2020 and an indication of which country or city you are posting from.

This action will reach a crescendo with a twitter storm starting from 00:00 hours Al Quds time 22 May ( London : 10pm 21st May) and continue through out the day.



2. We will be broadcasting the Global Event For Al Quds Day live on Quds Day, 22nd May 2020, from our facebook page at 5pm (UK), please join us.

Academia is not innocent.. The Hebrew University has been slowly but consistently expropriating land and expelling Palestinian owners in occupied East Jerusalem. Tel Aviv University refuses to acknowledge the fact that it sits on top of an ethnically cleansed Palestinian village.
