[Boycott - Other News] Gaza Massacre Remembered
www.inminds.co.uk 17 January 2012 Remembering Gaza - three years
The third anniversary of Operation Cast Lead, the genocidal attack by Israel on besieged Gaza in December 2008, which resulted in the murder of over 1400 Palestinians, was commemorated by a demonstration outside the Israeli Embassy in Kensington, London on 27th December 2011.
It was a good turn out for a cold December day in London. Being a busy Bank Holiday, Kensington High Street was full of shoppers looking for bargains after Christmas, most showed their support as they walked past or from buses, cars and even a coach. The streets of London are clearly with the Palestinians despite their governments continued support for Israel's crimes.
The police barricaded the protesters away from the Israeli embassy on the other side of the road, and in contrast allowed the small counter-demonstration of zionists and fascists to set up near the embassy.
Undeterred, the Palestinian rights protesters chanted and waved their placards and Palestinian flags calling for an end to the genocidal siege of Gaza and a boycott of Israel.
Several speakers addressed the crowds with messages of solidarity. Sarah Colborne from the PSC introduced the speakers which included Lindsey German from Stop the War Coalition, Mohammed Kosbar from the British Muslim Initiative, Hugh Lanning from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Zahir Birawi from the Palestinian Forum in Britain, Glyn Secker from jews for Justice for Palestinians, and Ismail Patel from Friends of Al-Aqsa.
A diverse group of people coming together, united for Palestine
End the siege of Gaza
The iconic picture of Nasrallah, the leader of the victorious movement that Israel could not defeat, the symbol of liberation and Israels defeat IS enough!
We will not forget you Gaza

The olive (zaytoun) and thyme (zatar) are of special significance to the Palestinians. As with the Palestinians, they have always been part of the land. The defiant arabic text on this drawing showing the first Qibla of the Muslims - Masjid Al-Aqsa refers to this - 'We will remain as long as the thyme and olive remain'.
Clear message from the Rabbis from the Neturei Karta:
Judaism rejects the Zionist state
Zionist occupation in any part of the Holy Land is Heresy and Crime
Give back to the Palestinians the entire land
