`DETAILS:` The-Che-Leila Youth Brigades delegation to Palestine Dates: leaving on Saturday June 1st; returning on Monday June 10th. Itinerary: the itinerary has not been finalised yet, but most likely we will be going to work with the United Palestinian Medical Relief Committees, in Jenin and Ramallah. This will mean working in ambulances taking supplies, medicines etc. Also the plan is to do interviews and fact-finding about the massacre that has taken place in Jenin so that we can report our findings when we get back to Britain. We have a trained documentary maker coming with us, so it is really important that we get hold of some decent video-recording equipment for the trip - please think about how we might do this! Obviously we will be meeting with lots of people and groups, and making visits etc. Cost: the likely overall cost is roughly £230. We are looking at fundraising sources for people who want to go but don't have the money (and have already raised a substantial amount), so we are requesting that people who want to join the delegation let us know as possible how much they are able to contribute towards their fare. This way tickets can be booked within the next few days. If you have any ideas please phone me (Fahim) on 07818 026883 or email fa@fahim.com. The most important thing right now is that anyone wishing to join the delegation confirms that they DEFINITELY are up for coming and lets us know how much they can contribute. Ideally send me a confirmation email in this format: "I confirm that I wish to take part in the delegation to Palestine from June 1st-10th. Name: Tel: Email: Age: Amount able to contribute to fare: . " The sooner this is sorted the easier it is going to be to get a flight!!! I will send out more details as I have them. The last delegation are also putting together a briefing document containing their experiences and what to expect when we get there etc. You need to get back to me or Carlos ASAP please as we're all pretty tight for time to make the necessary arrangements. Che-Leila is a non-party-affiliated organisation in Britain that will provide support to international movements that are fighting imperialism. The name comes from Che Guevara and Leila Khaled.
